<h5>Entry Level</h5>
Greeter - Provides a welcoming atmosphere to reoccurring and new students each week.
Check-In - Serves as a welcoming face to the ministry as they check-in students/volunteers during weekly services and special events while gathering the correct information we would need for follow-up purposes.
Admin Help - Helps Student Ministry admins with general office work, event data entry, spreadsheet organization, etc.
Java - Creates a homelike atmosphere through serving drinks and snacks to students at Java central.
Event Help (Entry) - Helps with setting up, cleaning, preparing food, hospitality, decorating, construction and any other behind the scene needs for an event.

<h5>Mid Level</h5>
Event help (Mid) - Helps with events like MVMNT, Dodgeball, Guys Weekend, Girls Weekend, Kickoffs, etc. leading students directly in a “Family Group” scenario.
Wednesday Hangs Leader - Provides a way for LH Students to minister to every student who walks through our doors.
Decision Counselors - Help students take their next step by explaining the Gospel, baptism, and other next steps (Life Groups, Dgroups, Bible reading).
Worship Team - Serve as either musician or vocalist on the worship team.
Film/Photo Team - Capturing film/photo content of Wednesday nights to share on social media.
 
<h5>High Level</h5>
Life Group Leader - Intentionally invests in the lives of students on Sunday mornings in order for students to Belong, Believe, and Become who God has designed them to be.
Watch Party Host - Builds relationships, leads discussion, and consistently does life with a group of students.
D-Group Leader - Intentionally invest in the lives of a group of 3-5 students by holding them accountable to weekly meetings, daily Bible reading and Scripture memory.
Overnight Event Leader - Steward, equip, and invest into the hearts and minds of students during Camp, mission trips, etc.

<h3>Current Service Opportunities with LH Kids</h3><h5>Serving Positions: </h5>Check-In - Welcome families with a smile and assist them with the check-in process, ensuring that each guest has excellent first impression and that all safety policies are followed. Commitment is about 30-45 minutes weekly on Sunday mornings or Wednesday evenings. Media Tech &amp; Production -Work behind the scenes, operating the audio, visual, and lighting portions of large group to provide a seamless and excellent experience for preschoolers and children where God’s truth is clearly communicated. Commitment ranges from about 45-90 minutes weekly on Sunday mornings or Wednesday evenings.Curriculum + Set-Up Team - Work behind the scenes helping the LH Kids team prepare lessons, organize and cut out materials, clean and organize classrooms. This is an extremely flexible role with opportunities to help throughout the week or even from home. Leader in Training - Teens under the age of 16 may serve under the supervision of an adult leader in a variety of LH Kids roles ranging from assistant small group leaders to leading worship. <h5>Leader Positions:</h5>Hallway Coordinator - Invest in 4-8 classroom leaders by offering classroom support, encouragement, and guidance during LH Kids services. Ensure that each child has an excellent experience, and that all safety policies are followed. Commitment is about 1.5 - 2 hours on Sunday mornings or Wednesday nights. Flexible schedules! Group Leader - Guide children in age and stage appropriate activities, games, and Bible lessons using the provided curriculum to help them know God and find community. Commitment is about 2 hours on Sunday mornings or Wednesday nights. Flexible schedules!Assistant Leader - Provide assistance in an LH Kids class by helping the group leader with games, activities, and Bible lessons using the provided curriculum. Commitment is about 2 hours on Sunday mornings or Wednesday nights. Flexible schedules!Worship Leader - Lead children in worship through song, hand motions, or with an instrument during large group time. Commitment ranges from about 30-90 minutes on Sunday mornings or Wednesday evenings. Puppets - Use puppets to share God’s truth with preschoolers and children in large group time. Scripts and training are provided. Commitment ranges from about 30-90 minutes on Sunday mornings or Wednesday evenings.Special Needs - Guide children with special needs in developmentally appropriate activities, games, and Bible lessons using the provided curriculum to help them connect with God and their peers. Opportunities include one-on-one supports as a “buddy” or as a leader in our sensory rooms - unique spaces designed specifically for children with various needs. Commitment is about 2 hours on Sunday mornings or Wednesday nights. Flexible schedules!Infant and Toddler Leader - Care for infants and young toddlers by providing a safe, secure, and loving environment. Commitment is about 2 hours on Sunday mornings or Wednesday nights. Flexible schedules!Host &amp; Bible Storyteller - Communicate God’s truth to preschoolers or children in a large group setting using the provided scripts and curriculum. This person should be a dynamic communicator and storyteller with a passion for God’s Word. Commitment ranges from about 30-90 minutes on Sunday mornings or Wednesday evenings.<h3>Service + Leader Requirements</h3>We value safety and want to provide our children with a safe, secure, and welcoming environment. To ensure a top quality experience, there are several requirements for volunteering with LH Kids. Please note that there are different requirements for volunteer and leader positions since some positions work directly with children teaching or leading, while others do not. <h5>Requirements for Serving Positions: </h5><ol><li>Complete a background check for volunteers age 16 and up. Greeters – Create a fun and welcoming environment by connecting with guests and assisting in any needs or answering questions they have. Java Stations – Provide a great customer service experience by serving black coffee while welcoming guests.Golf Cart &amp; Tram Drivers – Provide a family-fun mode of transportation for guests from the parking lot. (Age 25 and up with a valid driver’s license required for this role)Tram Hosts – Engage with guests as they ride the trams from the lot to the door, creating a fun and interactive experience. Service Coordinators – Ensure the guest experience is top-notch by making sure volunteers, the physical space, and the ministry as a whole are ready for the day. (Background check, volunteer application and membership required for this role)Set-Up Team – Set the stage for the entire day by strategically placing signage, traffic and parking cones, and flags. (This is a Saturday serving role)New Here – Welcome guests who are visiting for the first time, escort them throughout the campus, and go past the hello to make their experience personal. Resource Central – Serve guests in their purchase of resources to help them grow in their discipleship journey and Long Hollow merchandise. (Background check, volunteer application and membership required for this role.)Parking – Ensure the safety of guests by assisting officers with traffic flow and pedestrian crossings. New Here Parking – Welcome guests who are visiting for the first time by directing them to a reserved front parking spot, greeting them at their vehicle, and escorting them from the parking lot to the New Here check-in table.Seaters – Welcome guests into the worship center and assist them in finding a seat.Section Hosts - Engage with guests sitting in their section of the worship center, either before or after the service, by welcoming them, thanking them for coming, or answering any questions guests may have.

Guest Services Team

Help us create dynamic, life-changing experiences and atmospheres, whether it be with videos, stage designs, sermon illustrations, or other creative elements.

<h3>Current Service Opportunities</h3>
Camera Operator – Operate the cameras that help engage people in worship in the service, our live web stream and our campuses during our Sunday morning services. Some camera experience is helpful, but not required.
Stage Director – Responsible for all stage transitions that happen on stage during our services. The director oversees moving speaker props, visual aids, staging, microphones, etc into place on stage as well as cuing speakers and musicians when to enter and exit the stage.
Graphic/Prompter Operator – Displays song lyrics, sermon scriptures and point and other graphics on the screens for our services. Also responsible for displaying the song lyrics and notes for our Worship Leaders and Speakers during our services. We use Apple computers using ProPresenter as our platform. Some computer experience with presentation software is helpful but not required.
Video Engineer – Responsible for shading cameras, routing video/audio feed and managing the record decks during the services. No experience required.

Whether leading a Life Group, Discipleship Group, making phone calls or greeting for an event, you will assist in creating an environment for the adults at Long Hollow to feel welcomed and accepted (BELONG), can encounter Jesus and His Word (BELIEVE), and become who God designed them to be (BECOME).

<h4>Leader Roles</h4>
Adult Life Group Leaders - Life Group leaders will host a group that meets in their home on a weekly basis and are responsible for fostering a healthy, Christ-centered community for that group through facilitating Bible-based discussion either with sermon based curriculum or bible study of their choice. We have traditional co-ed groups, gender specific groups, and age specific groups.
Short-Term Life Group Leaders - Are similar to the standard Life Group except, their group will meet for the course of a specific study. We have a catalog of studies to choose from. These groups are semester-based and run in conjunction with other short-term studies offered.
Online Group Leaders - Have exactly the same role as a standard adult Life Group Leader with the exception of meeting online to provide a community for Long Hollow attendees from around the world.
D-Group Leaders - Lead a discipleship group of 3-5 gender specific members (men with men, women with women) for the course of 12-18 months. Meeting weekly and will practice spiritual disciplines (reading the Bible, memorizing scripture, prayer, etc) and accountability as a group.
Men's Group Leaders - Partner with our <a href="https://longhollow.com/connect/men" target="_blank">Men’s Ministry</a> to lead a group of men during short-term Bible Studies and events.
Women's Group Leaders - Partner with our <a href="https://longhollow.com/connect/women" target="_blank">Women’s Ministry</a> to lead a group of women during short-term Bible Studies and events.

Group Link Volunteers - Group Link meets every week on a Sunday morning. We need greeters, fill-in table hosts, check-in help, set up help.
Volunteers to make phone calls - many times we call through lists such as the Group Link list in order to invite, touch base or ask a specific question. Could do this at home in your own time.
Event Greeters - Periodically throughout the year, we host events for men, women, groups, etc. These events always require assistance from greeters, set up and tear down help, etc.

<h4>Baptism</h4>
Assist and encourage those coming for baptism. Help direct people to changing areas, assist in selecting clothing, and celebrate with them after this special event. (Volunteer application, membership, and background check required.)
<h4>Cards Team</h4>
Use your gift of encouragement in this behind-the-scenes opportunity to send cards to those who need hope, support, and comfort. Contact Leslee Kiser at <a href="mailto:leslee.kiser@longhollow.com" target="_blank">leslee.kiser@longhollow.com</a> for more information. 
<h4>Hospitals, Shut-Ins, and Funerals</h4>
Show care to those who are hurting or lonely. Personal visits, phone calls, or sending encouraging cards are just a few ways to serve. Providing meals is also a way to serve and offer support.
<h4>The Landing</h4>
The Landing is a Long Hollow ministry of Celebrate Recovery designed to help students in grades 6–12 find a path to freedom, healing and wholeness as they journey with other students to pursue a relationship with God. <h4>Prayer Ministry</h4>
We have opportunities to pray with and for people at stations throughout the campus on Sunday. If something a little more private is where you are more comfortable, join us in the prayer room before or after services. <h4>Prison and Jail Ministries</h4>
Long Hollow Prison and Jail Ministries offer a variety of ways to help those who are incarcerated. You can send cards and help respond to letters, or visit jails or prisons to lead discipleship groups and participate in worship services. Serve with your family, life group, or discipleship group providing care to seniors at a local senior living facility. Activities may include: helping with group games and crafts, leading worship songs, leading group devotionals, assisting with worship viewing times, providing nail and beauty care parties, and visiting individual rooms with a partner. <h4>Support Group Leader</h4>
Do you have the desire to help others with something you have struggled with yourself? Support groups are a great way to use your experience to help others.

Hospitality - Help create a fun, welcoming environment by greeting, connecting with first time guests, or helping with our post-gathering food and fellowship.
Production - Creating a LHYA gathering requires people ready to serve through leading worship and operating lighting, sound, and graphics. Experience is preferred.
Life Group Leader - Host a group that meets in your home or on campus weekly or bi-weekly. Leaders are responsible for developing Christ-centered community through facilitating Bible-based discussion either with sermon-based curriculum or Bible study of your choice. Young Adult Life Groups are all a mix of ages, genders and life stages.
