<h3>Current Service Opportunities</h3>
Greeter - Provides a welcoming atmosphere to reoccurring and new students each week inside the Student Building and in Legacy Park.
Check-In - Serve as a welcoming face to the ministry as you check-in students/volunteers during weekly services and special events, gathering the correct information needed for Wednesday Night services.

Admin Help - Help Student Ministry admins with general office work, event data entry, spreadsheet organization, birthday cards, follow-up, etc.
Events - Help with setting up, cleaning, preparing food, hospitality, decorating, construction, and any other behind the scene needs for events like Girls Summer Nights, Galentines, Kickoffs, and other day events. You can also steward, equip, and invest in the hearts and minds of students during camps, mission trips, Guys’ Weekend, and Girls’ weekend.
Wednesday Night Midweek Service Leader - Provide a way for LH Students to minister to every student who walks through our doors.


Wednesday Night Safety Team- Provide a safe environment for LH Students before and after student services. 

Wednesday Night Decision Counselors and Prayer Team - Provide students with a trusted adult who can walk them through spiritual decisions they want to make.

Worship Team - Serve as a musician or vocalist on the worship team.
Film/Photo Team - Capture film/photo content of Wednesday nights or events to share on social media.

Life Group Leader - Intentionally invest in the lives of students on Sunday mornings as they gather in community and learn to study Scripture and practice it in their lives. Gather together in community through Life Groups, but also teach students how to be obedient Christ followers.

 

Discipleship Group Leader - Intentionally invest in the lives of a group of 3-5 students by holding them accountable to weekly meetings, daily Bible reading and Scripture memory.

<h3>Current Service Opportunities with LH Kids</h3><h5>Serving Positions: </h5>Check-In - Welcome families with a smile and assist them with the check-in process, ensuring that each guest has excellent first impression and that all safety policies are followed. Commitment is about 30-45 minutes weekly on Sunday mornings or Wednesday evenings. Audio / Visual Production - Work behind the scenes, operating the audio, visual, and lighting portions of large group to provide a seamless and excellent experience for preschoolers and children where God’s truth is clearly communicated. Commitment ranges from about 45-90 minutes weekly on Sunday mornings or Wednesday evenings.Curriculum + Set-Up Team - Work behind the scenes helping the LH Kids team prepare lessons, organize and cut out materials, clean and organize classrooms. This is an extremely flexible role with opportunities to help throughout the week or even from home. Leader in Training - Teens under the age of 16 may serve under the supervision of an adult leader in a variety of LH Kids roles ranging from assistant small group leaders to leading worship. <h5>Leader Positions:</h5>Hallway Coordinator - Invest in 4-8 classroom leaders by offering classroom support, encouragement, and guidance during LH Kids services. Ensure that each child has an excellent experience, and that all safety policies are followed. Commitment is about 1.5 - 2 hours on Sunday mornings or Wednesday nights. Flexible schedules! Group Leader - Guide children in age and stage appropriate activities, games, and Bible lessons using the provided curriculum to help them know God and find community. Commitment is about 2 hours on Sunday mornings or Wednesday nights. Flexible schedules!Assistant Leader - Provide assistance in an LH Kids class by helping the group leader with games, activities, and Bible lessons using the provided curriculum. Commitment is about 2 hours on Sunday mornings or Wednesday nights. Flexible schedules!Praise Team and Worship Leader - Lead children in worship through song, hand motions, or with an instrument during large group time. Commitment ranges from about 30-90 minutes on Sunday mornings or Wednesday evenings. Special Needs - Guide children with special needs in developmentally appropriate activities, games, and Bible lessons using the provided curriculum to help them connect with God and their peers. Opportunities include one-on-one supports as a “buddy” or as a leader in our sensory rooms - unique spaces designed specifically for children with various needs. Commitment is about 2 hours on Sunday mornings or Wednesday nights. Flexible schedules!Infant and Toddler Leader - Care for infants and young toddlers by providing a safe, secure, and loving environment. Commitment is about 2 hours on Sunday mornings or Wednesday nights. Flexible schedules!Large Group Host or Emcee - Communicate God’s truth to preschoolers or children in a large group setting using the provided scripts and curriculum. This person should be a dynamic communicator and storyteller with a passion for God’s Word. Commitment ranges from about 30-90 minutes on Sunday mornings or Wednesday evenings.<h3>Service + Leader Requirements</h3>We value safety and want to provide our children with a safe, secure, and welcoming environment. To ensure a top quality experience, there are several requirements for volunteering with LH Kids. <h5>Team Member</h5>
Greeters – Be the first smile someone sees! Greeters create a fun, welcoming environment by connecting with guests before and after services, from the parking lot to the Worship Center doors.

Java Station – Serve more than coffee—serve connection. Team members keep our java stations stocked and clean while sharing a warm welcome with every cup.

Parking - Be a friendly guide during the first moments on campus. Parking team members assist with traffic flow and crossings, ensuring safety while offering a warm welcome. 

Resource Central – This team serves our church family and guests as they purchase discipleship resources and Long Hollow merchandise.

Seaters – Help guests and church family feel right at home in the Worship Center. Seaters make sure everyone has a place to sit so no one feels overlooked or left standing.

Section Host - Create community inside the Worship Center. Section hosts engage with church family and guests before and after the service, welcoming, answering questions, making everyone feel valued and at home.

Set-Up Team (Saturday role) - Prepare the way for life change. This team sets the stage for Sunday by placing signage, cones, and flags to help guide our church family safely and so every guest knows they belong.


Tram Driver – Help families start their day with ease and joy. Tram drivers provide a safe and fun ride from the parking lot to the door. (Age 25+ with valid driver’s license required.)

Tram Hosts – Turn an ordinary tram ride into a memorable moment. Hosts engage with guests along the way, creating a fun and personal experience. 

<h5>Team Leader Opportunities </h5>
Leadership roles focus on ensuring our teams, spaces, church family, and guests all receive intentional care. Requires leader application, background check, and church membership.

New Here – Go beyond “hello.” New Here team members personally welcome first-time guests, guide them through campus, and help them feel at home with our church family.

New Here Parking – Be the first person a first-time guest meets on our campus. Direct them to a front parking spot, greet them at their vehicle, and walk with them to New Here check-in so they feel seen, loved, and valued from the start.

Guest Services Team

Help us create dynamic, life-changing experiences and atmospheres, whether it be with videos, stage designs, sermon illustrations, or other creative elements.

<h3>Current Service Opportunities</h3>
Camera Operator – Operate the cameras that help engage people in worship in the service, our live web stream and our campuses during our Sunday morning services. Some camera experience is helpful, but not required.
Stage Director – Responsible for all stage transitions that happen on stage during our services. The director oversees moving speaker props, visual aids, staging, microphones, etc into place on stage as well as cuing speakers and musicians when to enter and exit the stage.
Graphic/Prompter Operator – Displays song lyrics, sermon scriptures and point and other graphics on the screens for our services. Also responsible for displaying the song lyrics and notes for our Worship Leaders and Speakers during our services. We use Apple computers using ProPresenter as our platform. Some computer experience with presentation software is helpful but not required.
Video Engineer – Responsible for shading cameras, routing video/audio feed and managing the record decks during the services. No experience required.

<h3>Leader Roles</h3>
Adult Life Group Leaders - Life Group leaders host a group that meets in a home or on campus on a regular basis and are responsible for fostering a healthy, Christ-centered community for the group through facilitating Bible-based discussion. We have traditional co-ed groups, gender-specific groups, and age-specific groups.

Short-Term Study Leaders - Similar to Life Groups, except this group will meet for the course of a specific study. We have a catalog of studies to choose from. These groups are semester-based and run in conjunction with other short-term studies offered.


Online Group Leaders - Meet online to foster a healthy, Christ-centered community for Long Hollow attendees from around the world. 


Support Group Leaders - Do you have the desire to help others with something you have struggled with yourself? Support groups are a great way to use your experience to help others.


Discipleship Group Leaders - Lead a Discipleship Group of 3-5 gender specific members (men with men, women with women) for the course of 12-18 months. You’ll meet weekly and practice spiritual disciplines (reading the Bible, memorizing Scripture, prayer, etc.) and accountability as a group.


Men's Group Leaders - Partner with our <a href="https://longhollow.com/connect/men" target="_blank">Men’s Ministry</a> to lead a group of men during short-term Bible Studies and events.

Women's Group Leaders - Partner with our <a href="https://longhollow.com/connect/women" target="_blank">Women’s Ministry</a> to lead a group of women during short-term Bible Studies and events.

(Gallatin and Hendersonville, arrival time is 30 minutes prior to scheduled service)
<ul><li>Baptism Check-in: Greet and check people in as they arrive for baptism.</li><li>Baptism Host: Ensure each person has the items they need, know what to do, and where to go while they are prepping for their baptism.</li><li>Baptism Laundry: Pick up laundry after the last baptism and take it home to wash, dry, fold, and return the items to campus during the week. *Does not require church membership.

Typically Monday or Tuesday. </li><li>Post-Baptism Phone Calls: Congratulate and encourage those who were baptized. </li></ul>

We have opportunities to pray with and for people at stations throughout the campus on Sunday. <h4>Prison and Jail Ministries</h4>
Long Hollow Prison and Jail Ministries offer a variety of ways to help those who are incarcerated. You can send cards and help respond to letters, or visit jails or prisons to lead discipleship groups and participate in worship services. Hospitality - Help create a fun, welcoming environment by greeting, connecting with first time guests, or helping with our post-gathering food and fellowship.
Production - Creating a LHYA gathering requires people ready to serve through leading worship and operating lighting, sound, and graphics. Experience is preferred.
Life Group Leader - Host a group that meets in your home or on campus weekly or bi-weekly. Leaders are responsible for developing Christ-centered community through facilitating Bible-based discussion either with sermon-based curriculum or Bible study of your choice. Young Adult Life Groups are all a mix of ages, genders and life stages.
