Something happens when you see the world the way Jesus sees it. The neighbor across the street and the village halfway around the globe start to feel equally close. We believe the local church is God’s plan for reaching the world, and Long Hollow is called to be part of that story.

Serve Locally This Holiday Season

Long Hollow is grateful to partner with organizations who are actively caring for our local community and join them in their work. Explore opportunities to pray for and engage with our local partners during the holiday season.

I Got Your Six (IGY6) exists to love and serve our first responders, their families, and local foster care children. Each year at Christmas, IGY6 collects gifts for children in foster care. 600 children in Tennessee foster care were served in 2025 by volunteers. Adopt a child (or family) with your family, Life Group, or Discipleship Group, and serve during gift distribution.

Gallatin Shalom Zone (GSZ) Located in the heart of the most underserved population in Sumner County, Gallatin Shalom Zone is a multi-resource community center providing life-enriching programs, activities, and opportunities that promote wholeness and peace for a beautiful, livable community. During the Christmas season, Shalom Zone is honored to serve as the collection and distribution site for the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots, bringing the community together to make Christmas possible for local children and youth while reminding them that they are cared for, valued, and loved. Through partnerships with local businesses, churches, organizations, volunteers, and generous community members, we collect, organize, and distribute toys to families who may not have gifts to celebrate Christmas.

Gallatin Shalom Toys for Tots

CityLife connects and builds relationships with employees and residents of apartment complexes by serving with purpose. Each year, their Angel Tree program serves children in need in the apartment complexes they serve in Gallatin, Hendersonville, and Madison. Through this program, over 40 families are served each year. Adopt a local child (or family) with your family, Life Group, or Discipleship Group.
