LH Kids hosts a variety of events throughout the year. Not only do we want to speak Jesus into the lives of the children in our ministry, we also want to allow kids and parents opportunities to connect with one another. Whether it’s for preschoolers, elementary age, or an event for the whole family, check out this page to see what we’re up to!
Manger Build
The Christmas season is busy and loaded with fun and celebration. However, we don’t want to lose sight of the true reason we celebrate — the birth of Jesus. Luke 2 tells us that Jesus’ first bed was a manger because a stable was the only safe place available for his family. We’re providing a space for dads, granddads, and uncles to bring their kids, grandkids, nieces and/or nephews to build a reminder of Jesus’ love for us — a life-size manger.
Join us on Saturday, December 6, from 9 – 11AM at Gallatin or Hendersonville for this free event, where men and the important kids in their lives in grades 3 - 5 can spend intentional time together as they create a tangible reminder of Jesus’ love for us. More than just a craft, this manger becomes a powerful object lesson to help men step up as spiritual leaders, using it to spark conversation about Jesus throughout the season.
Breakfast will be served, and all tools and supplies will be provided. Come ready to create lasting memories!

Gallatin Family Movie Night
There's something about gathering together during the Christmas season—sharing laughter, joy, and the stories that give us the warm fuzzy feelings. On Sunday, December 7 at 5:30PM, we want to invite our Gallatin campus families to kick off the Christmas season with us at The Palace Theater (146 N Water Ave, Gallatin) for a special movie night!

On this evening designed to build community with our Gallatin campus families, bring the whole crew for one film or settle in for a double feature—it's up to you!
Doors open at 5:30PM
5:45PM Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas begins
7:15PM The Grinch (2018) begins
And what’s a movie without snacks? Every person gets one free drink, popcorn, and candy!

Sleigh Bell Story Time
This Christmas season, gather your little ones for a morning filled with wonder as we celebrate the greatest story ever told—Jesus coming to earth as a baby to bring hope to the world.
Join us with your preschoolers on Wednesday, December 10 from 10AM - 12PM at Hendersonville or Gallatin.
This is a perfect opportunity to invite friends and neighbors, connect with other families, and create a joyful Christmas memory while pointing your kids to Jesus.
This is a stay-and-play event for parents and preschoolers to enjoy together. It's free, but please register so we know you’re coming.
