The Mothers of Special Needs Children group is peer-led support for mothers of children (young or adults) with special needs of all kinds. For this group, special needs is defined by any type of diagnosis (emotional, physical, medical, or psychological). We are a community of moms walking down a similar path that comes with unique challenges.
Beginning Wednesday, August 14, this group will meet weekly through December 4, 2024 in Room 222 (upstairs in the Kids Building) and on Zoom from 6:30 - 7:45PM.
We will use the book, The Other Side of Special for our curriculum. You may purchase a copy, but reading each week will be optional. We will discuss topics like grief, overwhelm, and fear.
This is an open group, so feel free to join at any time. If you are interested in joining us this fall, request more information below and one of our leaders will contact you.
