At Long Hollow, our mission is to live out our God-given calling as we follow Jesus and make disciples every day. We believe our kids and students can be empowered to fulfill this mission in their own lives. One way we seek to do this is by providing opportunities for them to be a force for good in our community and beyond.
Each month, we’ll offer a different missions focus so every family has the opportunity to be involved.
For more ways your family can be involved on your own locally, check out the options below.
If you have any questions, please contact Kenni Cavalier at kenni.cavalier@longhollow.com.
Food for Families is our annual Thanksgiving opportunity for Long Hollow to be a force for good in our community.
Food-filled bags will be delivered to our local schools, homes of Sumner County students, and local missions partners on November 22 - 23, 2024. Last year, we were able to serve 1,600+ families in Sumner County and the surrounding area. We’d love to help even more people this year! Find out more here.
Here are a few things to discuss with your family:
Our first responders spend Thanksgiving and Christmas days away from their families and loved ones and spend the day protecting our community instead. Join us in serving them by delivering a hot meal as they work. Stay tuned over for volunteer registration coming soon!
Many middle and high school students are overlooked during the Christmas season. We want to help them feel seen, known, and loved. Through our Spirit of Christmas initiative, join us in serving these students of Sumner County by shopping a list they provide us of both their wants and needs. We ask the minimum amount spent per child is $100. To sign up to serve, go here.
