Every year in Sumner County, there are families who struggle to make Christmas a special time for their children. We want to come alongside families and ministry partners in our community to be a force for good, blessing kids and teens during the Christmas season.

Our Spirit of Christmas initiative strives to meet the needs of families by providing Christmas gifts for middle and high school students who are in need. We believe every child should feel seen, loved, and blessed on Christmas. Our goal is to serve 100 students in Sumner County this season.

Our local schools and ministry partners identify families and send detailed wish lists to our Missions Team. These wish lists include needs and wants, and even provide details about favorites and sizes to help our volunteers shop to the best of their ability. This is the perfect opportunity for your family, Life Group, D-group, or Volunteer Team to work together to bless local kids.

Volunteers can sign up to sponsor one or more students by shopping based on their wish lists, then deliver the gifts to the school or our local ministry partners during the week of December 2 - 6, 2024. Volunteers should expect to spend a minimum of $100 per sponsored child, and will receive detailed instructions for wrapping and delivery after sign up.

If you don’t live in Sumner County, you can still participate! Volunteers who live outside the area can sponsor a child through one of our local ministry partners. They will send a wish list of the sponsored child and the address of our ministry partner to have items shipped to the week of December 2 - 6, 2024.
