Long Hollow's 55 Plus Ministry is a place to connect and fellowship with other men and women within the church ages 55 and up. We have a variety of opportunities available, with something to suit everyone.
Life Groups
Grow as a spirit-led follower and find community as an intentional friend or humble guide in a Long Hollow Life Group. There are a variety of options available for our 55 Plus Ministry based on time, date, and location. You can find out more here.
Forks and Friends Supper Club
Forks and Friends is a supper club group that meets monthly or bi-monthly in homes or restaurants as a way to foster fellowship and connection among members of the 55 Plus Ministry. Sign up below for more information.
Monthly Luncheons
We gather once monthly to enjoy entertainment and fellowship together. Past entertainment includes: pianists, comedians, potters, trivia, gospel singing groups, Country music artists, Q&A sessions, and engaging speakers.

We have two opportunities for you to join us in October for Trivia Time with Julian Hinson from The Original Trivia Company! Put on your thinking cap and come ready for a meal, fellowship, and (friendly) competition in the Student Building on the Hendersonville campus.

Join us for lunch and lecture series on Thursday, November 14 from 10AM - 12PM in the Student Building on the Hendersonville campus.
Dawn Driskill will educate us on the many types of senior living. She’ll discuss available options, help you think about what might be the right fit for you, and the right time to make a move.
Lisa Barry will share the many options available for non-medical home care services from A to Z, and how you can take advantage of the services that are right for you.
Don’t miss this important opportunity to learn about the many options available for you and your family. Lunch is included with the $10 cost.

Day Trips
Grab your adventurous spirit and join us for a day trip! We occasionally load up in a coach to travel in style and enjoy fellowship and a fun attraction.
September Trip
Join the 55+ Ministry for a day trip to Loretta Lynn’s Ranch in Hurricane Mills, TN, on Thursday, September 12. Enjoy exploring and fellowship with new and current friends!
Meet at the church at 8:30AM and depart by 9AM via chartered coach. We’ll stop at Loretta Lynn’s Kitchen for lunch, then tour the house and museum at the ranch, returning to the church by 5PM. The cost for the trip is $50, which includes transportation, ranch tour, and lunch. Spaces are limited, so sign up now!
