Long Hollow's 55 Plus Ministry is a place to connect and fellowship with other men and women within the church ages 55 and up. We have a variety of opportunities available, with something to suit everyone.
Life Groups
Grow as a spirit-led follower and find community as an intentional friend or humble guide in a Long Hollow Life Group. There are a variety of options available for our 55 Plus Ministry based on time, date, and location, as well as Forks and Friends supper club groups. Find your new group here.

Monthly Events
We gather once monthly to enjoy entertainment and fellowship together. Past entertainment includes: pianists, comedians, potters, trivia, gospel singing groups, Country music artists, Q&A sessions, and engaging speakers.

May 1 - Luncheon
Join us on Thursday, May 1 from 10AM - 12PM in the Student Building on the Hendersonville campus to find out how we can best pour into those around us, whether it be our friends and neighbors or family members. Mike and Kristi Pennington will join us to discuss how caring for ourselves helps us care for others. It’s a Pear Catering will provide lunch, which is $10 cash at the door.
During registration, you’ll have the option to purchase “Tell Me Your Life Story” books for $10 each, payable during registration.

May 20 - Evening Coffee Social in Legacy Park
Join us on Tuesday, May 20 from 6 - 8PM in Legacy Park for a coffee social. Come ready to enjoy a refreshment from Legacy Coffee, fellowship, and yard games. The 55 Plus Ministry will cover up to $5 per person for a refreshment in Legacy Coffee and attendees will cover the balance.

Day Trips
Grab your adventurous spirit and join us for a day trip! We occasionally load up in a coach to travel in style and enjoy fellowship and a fun attraction.

Join us on Sunday, March 23 for a day trip to the Cumberland Playhouse in Crossville, Tennessee, to see “The Wizard of Oz”. Arrive at Beech High School at 11:30AM with departure via chartered coach at 12PM. We’ll return around 7PM. The cost is $25 and includes transportation, snacks on the bus, and a ticket to the show.
