We want to give the men of Long Hollow a path to become better Spirit-led followers, intentional friends, humble guides, and forces for good in our homes and community. BetterMan gives us a path to biblical manhood with a clear vision. BetterMan is about activating a better masculinity - the true and timeless masculinity God designed from the beginning in Genesis.
Join us for this 11-week Bible study just for men. Our fall BetterMan study is BetterMan’s Core study. Through the lens of biblical manhood, we will cover topics like unpacking your past all the way to planning your future.

As men, God calls us to lead. How can you become a better leader? Sometimes the best way to learn is to return to the fundamentals. On Tuesday mornings at 6:00 a.m. in the Student Building, we'll engage in 4 to 6-week studies of topics where we're specifically called to lead. This group is ongoing, so feel free to join any time. Find our upcoming topics below.

How to Lead When You’re Not In Charge by Clay Scroggins
Are you letting your lack of authority paralyze you? One of the greatest myths of leadership is that you must be in charge in order to lead. Great leaders don't buy it. Great leaders lead with or without the authority and learn to unleash their influence wherever they are. With practical wisdom and humor, we’ll help you nurture your vision and cultivate influence, even when you lack authority in your organization. And we’ll free you to become the great leader you want to be so you can make a difference right where you are. Even when you're not in charge.

Chasing Daylight: Seize the Power of Every Moment by Erwin McManus
We are given one opportunity to pursue our dreams and fulfill our divine purpose. Every moment counts. Are you willing to risk failure? Are you ready to get in the game? You may stumble, but you will find yourself falling forward, propelled toward the God-inspired adventure He intends you to live. Using the biblical characters of Saul and Jonathan during Israel’s war with the Philistines (1 Samuel 13 and 14), Chasing Daylight demonstrates the difference between living a life of purpose and adventure and living one of apathy and missed opportunity. While Saul rested beneath a pomegranate tree, Jonathan seized the divine moment and redirected the future of Israel.

Leadership Lessons from the Life of Nehemiah
We will delve into the story of Nehemiah and what his example can mean for us today. The story of Nehemiah and his success can help us become better parents, better executives, better employees, better friends, better team members...better people. Why? Because the book of Nehemiah in the Old Testament is all about leadership. Leadership is the key to all success. When we become better leaders, we become better--at everything. Nehemiah saw a need, rose up, captured a vision, laid out a plan, and mobilized others to join him in his cause. What are you waiting for? Start becoming the leader you were meant to be.

We understand as men, we must fight: Fight to grow our relationship with God, fight for our mindset, heart, and character, our family, and our brothers. Fight Club is a Christian brotherhood focused on strengthening other men through God's truth. Dive deep into daily battles through studying men throughout the Bible and gain strength by being surrounded by godly men. Fight Club also incorporates quarterly outings or retreats.
For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them. Matthew 18:20 (NIV)
Fight Club weekly gatherings are every Thursday at 6 a.m. in the Student Building Garage. Coffee is provided, and new men are welcome.
Fight Club offers two specific growth opportunities: MENtor - if you're in a good season of life and are willing to invest in a battle to help a brother in Christ. MENtee - be mentored in any season of life by a brother in Christ.

Freedom Fight, The Freedom From Pornography support group, will provide an exclusive group connection with accountability, community, and a biblical foundation. A trained group facilitator who understands the battle will lead each group of 4-6 participants of the same gender, utilizing the Freedom Fight curriculum. Groups meet online and in person on the day and time determined by the group. If you have any questions, please contact Abraham Cremeens at abraham.cremeens@longhollow.com.
Do you attend Long Hollow in person or online, live on the south side of Nashville, and want to connect with other guys but find it difficult to get to Hendersonville during the week? Join us for Southside!
We often find ourselves so busy with home and work that we don't take time to connect with other men and check in to make sure we are moving in the right direction. Southside tries to make it easy on your schedule so you can connect with other guys and dive into God's Word. We can encourage one another and learn the truth of how we should be doing this thing called life. We’re beginning in the Gospel of Luke, but will discuss our next study as a group.
