<h3>HUNGER IN OUR COMMUNITY</h3>
<p>Sometimes, the needs of our community hide in plain sight, but that doesn’t mean they should stay hidden. Sumner County Schools have identified over 300 students who are experiencing homelessness right here in our own backyard. Many of these students experience malnutrition and don’t have much, if anything, to eat while they’re away from school. Their parents often struggle to provide food and may go hungry themselves so their children can eat. Teachers often spend their own money to help provide food for students in need.</p>

<p>Children and teens with hungry bellies find it difficult to concentrate in school, or may not attend school at all. They may be embarrassed to tell someone or ask for help. The children and teens of Sumner County should not carry this burden alone. We can help. </p>

The goal of End Hunger in Sumner is to support the Sumner County school system alongside churches, non-profits, and governmental entities, aiming to eliminate food insecurities faced by students and provide biblical life coaching assistance to their families.

Missions Night

<p>Add intentionality and purpose to your business or family travel by visiting missionaries and church planters to provide encouragement. We will pair you with a missionary or church planter in the city you’re already visiting, allowing you to add purpose to your family or business trip. </p>

<p>You’ll meet via Zoom before your trip to learn more about each other, the place you’re visiting, and what their greatest needs are. We encourage you to meet with your missionary or church planter at least once on your trip, spending a few hours or an entire day together. The details will be up to you! </p>

Over 8 weeks, you'll learn the essentials of what it means to serve as a Long Hollow Sent missionary—practical preparation, spiritual formation, and discernment for the calling God has placed on your life.</p>

<p>This isn't just information. It's formation. You'll explore what it really takes to go, how to partner with the local church, and how the Spirit leads us into the harvest fields He's already preparing. Whether you're sensing a clear call or just beginning to wonder what could be possible, this cohort will help you take the next step.</p>
