Mark your calendars now and join us for Kids Con 2024! Kids Con is a free event and will be Tuesday, June 4 - Friday, June 7 from 6 - 8:30 p.m., with Family Night on Friday evening, June 7.

Kids Con is for kids age 4 - rising 5th grade. Our rising 5th graders will have their own specially-curated experience as they prepare for their last year of elementary school.

Kids Con will be lots of fun with large group worship, small group, missions, and games, but we will use all of these things to help kids focus on discovering God’s truth never changes, everyone needs Jesus, and learning to speak the truth in love.

Missions Focus:

LH Kids and Kids Con are partnering with Living Water, an organization that helps with refugee camps in Uganda, Africa. This year, we’ll be raising money for kids in the refugee camps to have the uniforms necessary to attend school. Find out more at Kids Con!

FAQ:

When can I sign up? Sign up begins April 7.

How old does my child need to be to participate? Children must be at least 4 years old by the first day of Kids Con in order to participate. Accommodations can be made for children with special needs age 4 - rising 5th grade. Children under the age of 4 are invited to attend if their parent is serving at Kids Con. Sign up to volunteer here.

Can my kids invite friends who don’t attend Long Hollow? Yes! We love it when LH Kids invite friends to come with them!

Should we eat dinner beforehand? We’ll provide a snack during the evening, but everyone should eat dinner before coming to Kids Con.

What should my child wear/bring? Children should wear comfortable play clothes and closed toe shoes with a back. Most children will be going outside to play and/or rotate to stations throughout the campus. Kids should bring their Bible with their first and last name on it, and it’s also helpful to bring a water bottle with their first and last name on it.

What time should we arrive? To make things convenient for your family, check-in begins at 5:30 p.m. in four separate locations. Families can check in at the Main Entrance, the Gathering Area by the East Entrance, or the Family Corridor (next to the Outdoor Playground). 5th grade only may check in at the Student Building. (See a map here.) After being checked in and receiving a security tag, kids can be dropped off beginning at 5:45. 4-year-olds - Kindergarten will be dropped off in classrooms, 1st-4th graders will be dropped off in the Worship Center, and 5th graders will be dropped off in the Student Building.

Where will I pick up my child? Your child will be picked up by an adult with the appropriate security tag in the same place they were dropped off.

What’s Family Night? Family night is fun for all ages. It begins in the Worship Center with a quick recap of our week and a high energy time of family worship, followed by outdoor games and more. This is not a drop-off night. Parents or guardians must remain with their child throughout the evening.

Do you need volunteers? Yes! We have a place for you to help, whether it’s greeting and check-in, rec games, leading a small group, and much more. Sign up here to serve at Kids Con and contact Kerry Hicks at kerry.hicks@longhollow.com if you have any questions.

If you have additional questions or need more information, please contact Adam Graves at adam.graves@longhollow.com.
