Like the rest of the us, you're probably keeping up with how Hurricane Ian has affected people and property in its path. As we actively pray for those affected by this storm, our disaster relief teams are already joining others from the Southern Baptist Convention to assess damage and look for tangible ways that we can help.
Many from our church family and community have already reached out looking for ways to get involved. While we’re still evaluating the most urgent needs in our area, here are 4 immediate steps you can take to make a difference today:
- Sign up for a local relief team. By filling out this quick form, you’ll be the first to know when there’s a tangible way you can help nearby.
- Donate supplies. We’ve collected a list of the specific needs below. You can drop these off at our campus this Sunday at any entrance during all three services.
- Join a team to provide immediate assistance to the hardest hit areas. Fill out this quick form, and we’ll be in touch to pair you with a team that will travel to the most affected areas to provide relief as we become aware of needs.
- Give online. Long Hollow is giving a portion of all gifts received this weekend to Send Relief (the Southern Baptist Convention’s disaster relief program, which is also the largest disaster relief organization in the nation).
