Like the rest of the us, you're probably keeping up with how Hurricane Ian has affected people and property in its path. As we actively pray for those affected by this storm, our disaster relief teams are already joining others from the Southern Baptist Convention to assess damage and look for tangible ways that we can help.
Many from our church family and community have already reached out looking for ways to get involved. While we’re still evaluating the most urgent needs in our area, here are 4 immediate steps you can take to make a difference today:
If you sign up for one of the teams mentioned above, we’ll keep you posted with the latest needs and ways to help the moment we’re made aware of them. If you have further questions about our disaster relief efforts or want to make us aware of a need, please contact our missions team at missions@longhollow.com.
Thank you for your willingness to be the hands and feet of Jesus as we look for ways to care for those affected by Hurricane Ian.
If you are able, donate these specific items from the list below and drop them off when you attend a service at Long Hollow this weekend. There will be a place to collect supplies at every main building entrance. **No clothing donations are needed at this time.**
