Part-Time Housekeeping Team Member

We are seeking a person to join our Housekeeping Team. Duties will include: General and detail cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, bathrooms, windows and other tasks assigned. This is a part-time position that includes some occasional weekends; approximately 12 - 15 hours per week, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with flexibility.

The successful applicant must have the following skills and requirements:

• Is reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
• Is able to bend down, squat, push and pull repeatedly throughout the shift.

Film Maker Specialist

We are seeking applicants for a Film Maker Specialist position. This is a full-time, exempt position with benefits. Key responsibilities will include producing, shooting, directing, and editing videos for our Sunday services and ministry departments. The type of videos you’ll create will range from event promos, story pieces, cinematic bumpers, documentaries, music videos, short films, and more.

The successful applicant must have the following skills and requirements:

• Is a Christ-follower with a personal commitment to Jesus Christ as his or her Lord and Savior.
• Is passionate about the art and craft of film and storytelling.
• Has experience in filmmaking, including lighting, lensing, shot composition, direction of talent, and audio production.
• Has a working knowledge of current (Canon, RED, Sony, Blackmagic, etc.) camera technologies.
• Proficient in DaVinci Resolve.
• Has a desire to train and cultivate community with film volunteers.
• Must have an eye for detail.

LH Kids Childcare Worker

We are seeking applicants who are professionally prepared to be a caregiver and teacher of young children. This is a part-time non-exempt position helping with the various ministry teams and departments of Long Hollow to provide childcare needs for Church events. This person should be available to work Wednesday mornings, Wednesday evenings and/or Monday nights as needed. More opportunities are available for special events throughout the year during the week as well as on weekends.

The successful applicant must have the following skills and requirements:

• Is a Christ-follower with a personal commitment to Jesus Christ as his or her Lord and Savior.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Must be a responsible, sensitive, and mature individual who is able to relate well to both children and adults.
• Must abide by all the safety policies of LH Kids and the employee guidelines of Long Hollow Baptist Church.

Elementary Minister

We are currently seeking applicants for the Elementary Minister position. This position leads our Elementary-age children and focuses on the spiritual development of the family. The primary focus is parents and developing volunteers. This role is key in the culture of the ministry and essential for carrying out the vision of Long Hollow Family Ministry. This is a full-time exempt (40+ hours) position not entitled to FLSA rules and regulations, and not eligible for overtime.

The successful applicant must have the following skills and requirements:

• 3-5 years of Children's ministry at a Church required.
• Oversee the Elementary Ministry and carry out the vision of LH Family ministry.
• Lead and develop the members of the team.
• Recruit, develop, place and care for volunteers.
• Build and invest intentional relationships with parents.
• Collaborate with the Family leadership team for creative direction, curriculum direction/editing, and event planning.

Long Hollow Weekday Preschool Substitute Teacher

Long Hollow Weekday Preschool, our part-time Mother’s Day Out Program, is hiring experienced substitute preschool teachers. This is a part-time position from August - May.

Teachers must agree to abstain from drugs and alcohol during their time of employment. Each class teacher is responsible for their classroom’s arrangement and appearance, building relationships with the children and their parents, and following all our classroom guidelines.

This position does not provide any benefits, including insurance or holidays.

Qualifications:

• Must be professionally prepared as a caregiver and teacher of young children.
• Be a Christ follower and have a personal commitment to Jesus Christ as his/her Lord and Savior.
• Be available to work Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
• Be a responsible, sensitive, and mature individual who is able to relate well to both children and adults.
• The person selected for this position will be responsible for the general supervision and care of young children.
• You will be required to pass a background screening process.
