In December of 2008, Long Hollow was happy to welcome Henry Bieber to our staff. Henry oversees the LifeWorks Counseling Center, the marriage/relationship ministry, the Celebrate Recovery ministry, and meets regularly with people to administer care and counseling.
Some of Henry’s favorites include author C.S. Lewis, singer-songwriter Michael Card, the movie “The Kid”, and a day of mountain biking. Philippians 2:3-11 is a favorite passage of his because it expresses the great depths of Christ’s love for us.
Springfield Student Minister
Starting out as a summer intern, Andrew joined the youth ministry staff at Long Hollow in 2010. As a native of this area, Andrew is constantly building relationships and partnering with families to spread the Gospel.
Andrew is energetic, always moving, and fun to be around. In his free time he can be found building items for his home, painting, fixing cars, and exploring new places with his wife. His favorite burger is the one served at The Depot in Springfield.
With the addition of the new student building in 2012, as well as an ever-expanding outreach through ministry programs, Jeremy Brown joined Long Hollow’s staff to help facilitate the various audio and production needs.
Jeremy enjoys spending time in the recording studio, going out to the lake with his wife, chasing his dogs through the backyard, cheering for the Titans, and vacationing to Disney. He is constantly reminded by Christ’s sacrifice through Philippians 2.
Financial Resources Manager
With an annual budget well over 10 million dollars, Long Hollow is in constant need of someone to supervise all finanical activity. Since August of 2004, Janet Chambers has provided this leadership and professional standard of excellence.
At home, Janet enjoys spending time with her family, watching the Nashville Predators, and cites Rocky Road as her favorite ice cream. In her spiritual walk, Janet says that Phillipians 4:13 has always given her hope.
Derek Clayton has been on Long Hollow’s staff since 2011 and is a member of our Financial Team.
Derek is one of those guys that finds joy in keeping things organized: people, numbers, events, products, whatever it is! However, despite this orderly passion, Derek insists that God’s plan for his life (as written Jeremiah 29:11) is vastly better than his!
Children's TreeHouse Minister
Robyn Collins has been one of Long Hollow’s children ministers since 2010. As an active writer, Robyn leads the way in creating custom curriculum, music, activities, and worship experiences for our children to meet and embrace Jesus Christ.

Derek Hazelet has been serving on staff at Long Hollow since 2005. He oversees the various branches of adult ministry (Men’s, Women’s, Membership, Counseling, etc.) and is committed to seeing individuals live out the 5 Purposes of Long Hollow: Come, Connect, Grow, Serve, Go!
At home, Derek enjoys watching Football, eating mint chocolate chip ice cream, reading books by Hank Hanegraaff, and laughing with his family. When asked to summarize his life in one word, Derek replied, “Blessed.”
Gallatin Preschool and Children's Minister
A member of our Children’s Team for years, Emmy now serves in our Preschool and Children’s Ministry at our Gallatin Campus. Her love for children makes her a great fit for telling them weekly about God’s love!
A fan of crafts and the outdoors, Emmy enjoys having fun in nature with her equally outdoorsy husband. Her favorite verse is Matthew 11:28-30, which encourages believers to rest in Christ.
Starting in 2007, Tyler Hirth has held a versatile role in Long Hollow’s audio/visual development. Currently, Tyler oversees the recruitment and training of production volunteers, designs and oversees A/V technical installations, and technical directs a majority of weekends services and events.
One things that Tyler loves most about working at Long Hollow is the team he gets to work with. He’s a regular listener of Coldplay, an Apple fan boy, and insists that Burger Up! Has an even better burger than Sax Deli.
Keeping accurate and honest records of our church’s logistics is a priority with Long Hollow’s integrity and transparency. Since 2012, Calvin has been a part of gathering weekly data, building reports, and keeping the church on track to maximize its impact in the world.
The thing that Calvin says he loves most about his job is that he gets to see how many people are being transformed by the Gospel. In his own life, he said that he was continually inspired by how much truth is in Isaiah 40:8 in so few words.

Hendersonville Campus Resources Manager
In 2011, Dan became a part of the facilities team at Long Hollow. Much like the rest of the team, Dan’s daily tasks are in constant flux: one day painting, one day plumbing, one day electrician, one day carpenter, one day mechanic.
As much as he is able, Dan loves taking mission trips (especially Haiti) where he can use his gifts and creativity in different environments. He’s also a big fan of working on cars, listening to Prairie Home Companion, and watching the Titans play.
Long Hollow’s ability to function is fueled by the generous service of our many volunteers. As such, Amanda holds a vital role in recruiting, placing, equipping, and encouraging the various volunteer teams. Seeing the impact that a volunteer makes on someone’s life is exciting to her!
Amanda is a Florida Gators fan and really enjoys “pralines ‘n cream” ice cream! The call to care for orphans found in James 1:27 is near and dear to Amanda’s heart and to her whole family.

Having originally joined Long Hollow’s staff as an administrative assistant, Jennifer Lorance is now a minister to thousands on women in our community. Whether counseling a young girl in her office or visiting the elderly in the hospital, Jennifer is living out Christ’s love in the day to day.
Jennifer is an avid reader of John Piper’s books, a listener of Chris Tomlin’s music, and (of course) a fan of UT football! For her, Phillipians 1:21 says it all: to live is Christ, to die is gain!
Next Generation Pastor

Sherrie Thomas has been working at Long Hollow since 1998, providing the much-needed care for our preschool children. One of her favorite things to do is simply to love, encourage, and talk about Jesus to the preschool children she sees each week.
Outside of Long Hollow, Sherrie loves spending time with her grandchildren. Proverbs 3:5-6 is a daily reminder to her that she should depend only on Christ
In 2012, Chrissy Toth joined our staff as the Missions Specialist. Whether it’s short term, long term, local, or across the globe, Chrissy is passionate about equipping people to follow God’s call to GO!
Outside of her position at Long Hollow, Chrissy can be found exploring area restaurants, cheering for Michigan State, and spending quality time with her family. Her favorite verse is Galatians 1:10.
Hendersonville Worship Pastor
In 2010, Gerald Trottman was called to serve as the new worship pastor at Long Hollow. He brought with him his Music Conservatory training, years of experience playing/arranging/leading in New York, and a heart to see lives changed by the Gospel.
Gerald is a natural leader and entrepreneur. Whether it’s teaching songwriting to underprivileged students on the weekends or producing albums of original music, Gerald brings focus and creativity to his work and relationships.
In the fall of 2005 Jason Underhill became the Children’s Pastor at Long Hollow. Jason is all about creating fun and exciting environments that engage children with the story of salvation. In addition, Jason is passionate about ministering to families as a whole.
Jason roots for Vanderbilt Commodores, has a sweet tooth for Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream, and loves spending time with his wife and 5 kids. No matter what Jason faces, he finds strength and comfort in Psalm 23.
One of the defining characteristics of the Hendersonville campus is getting to hear the voice of Brooke Voland leading our church in worship. Since 2010, Brooke has been a staffed musician as well as a regular contributor to Long Hollow’s overall creative ministry.
As one would expect, Brooke enjoys a wide variety of music. However, one of her favorite groups has always been the Everly Brothers (also her relatives!). Daily, she finds comfort in God’s purpose for her life, as written in Psalm 89:1.
Satellite Production Specialist
As Long Hollow continues to launch satellite campuses, the need for skilled supervision in audio and visual areas continues to increase. Starting in 2011, Tim has provided this much-needed leadership and expertise to make our satellite campus worship experiences the best they can be.
When he’s not at Long Hollow, Tim is typically found fixing up a motorcycle or car. His favorite burger joint is Gabby’s (in Nashville) and he prefers the music of classic crime. Proverbs 16:9 is always a good reminder to him that God is in control.
Madison Worship Minister
Just a few months after the Madison campus had first launched in 2013, Josh Woodlief became the first Long Hollow Madison Worship Minister. At the heart of Josh’s life is a desire to see broken people being changed by the Gospel.

After years of serving Long Hollow in a freelance capacity, Matt joined our Communication Team in 2014 as the Design Specialist. His passion for art and critical eye is responsible for much of the visual communication our community enjoys every weekend.
When he’s not creating in Photoshop, Matt can be found traveling, checking out the local music scene, and enjoying a good enchilada. His favorite scripture is 1 Corinthians 13.
Brian Zimmerman’s first role at Long Hollow was an intern for the student ministry, helping to facilitate various media needs. Then, in 2011, his passion for video producing led him to join the video team, where he now creates custom content for weekly services and events.
From video styles to personal preference, Brian is fairly biased towards the “retro throwback” culture. He likes 80′s-90′s videogame systems, the band “M83″, and knows a lot about various film trilogies of that era.
