Food for Families is our annual Thanksgiving opportunity for Long Hollow to be a force for good in our community.

Food-filled bags will be delivered to our local schools, homes of Sumner County students, and local missions partners on November 22 - 23, 2024. Last year, we were able to serve 1,600+ families in Sumner County and the surrounding area. We’d love to help even more people this year!

How can I help?
There are several ways you can participate in Food for Families!

Fill a bag: Beginning October 20, pick up a bag at any of the main entrances on campus and shop for needed items (lists will be attached). Look for the Food for Families trailer to drop off the filled bags on campus and at Beech High School on Sunday, October 27 - Sunday, November 17.

Purchase a bag: If you attend online or are unable to shop for a bag, we would still love for you to participate! Gifts can be given in $30 increments (the estimated cost of a complete bag). Go here to purchase complete bags.

Volunteer to deliver bags: We need volunteers to deliver bags to our local schools, homes of Sumner County students, and missions partners on Friday, November 22, and Saturday, November 23, 2024 at 10:00AM. Sign up to help us deliver bags on your preferred day.

• 2 15.25 oz cans of corn
• 2 14.5 oz cans of green beans
• 2 6 oz boxes of stuffing mix
• 1 13-15 oz box of instant potatoes
• 1 14 oz can of cranberry sauce
• 2 .87 oz envelopes of turkey gravy mix
• 1 19.5 oz box of brownie mix
• 1 box of macaroni & cheese
• 1 $10 Kroger gift card for turkey (please place this in an envelope in the bag)
