Trip Full

Southeast Asia is a region which includes a collection of islands located in the Indian and Pacific oceans. It contains the world’s second largest rainforest and thriving coral reefs. While its natural world seems wholesome and beautiful, the hearts of the people in this nation are not. In a population of over 232 million people, only 13 million are evangelical Christians- this is just 5% of the population. Islam is prevalent and rules over the hearts of many- over 186 million people to be exact (this is 80% of the population). It is clear that a spiritual conflict is raging in this region. Ancient and strong occult powers seek to oppose the influence of the gospel, while modern Muslim plans aim to eliminate Christianity and remove any remnants of the good news.

This team will work alongside the local seminary, serving students and pastors. We have the unique opportunity to teach disciple-making methods and impact many small churches in the region.
