Being a city of more than 5.7 million people, Atlanta has become the unofficial capital of the South and one of the most influential cities in the United States. Despite its location in the Bible Belt and abundance of megachurches, the city lacks life-giving communities of believers who are invested in specific neighborhoods and actively meeting practical needs. For every 5,376 there is only one Southern Baptist church. For change to take place, it must begin on the neighborhood level. This spring break, our college ministry will be traveling with resident church planter Dustin Lee to hear the vision for City View Church. If you are a college student interested in moving and attending a school while also living on mission, this is the trip for you. This trip could also help you determine where you will find a job and live on mission after you graduate.
