We will be hosting the PATH course at the Hendersonville Campus from August 15th – October 3rd!

PATH: Parents As Tender Healers is a course mandated by the State to become foster parents. This course will be offered through the Tennessee Baptist Children’s Home. The first class meeting is just the Informational Meeting and kind of a crash course overview of foster care. Families are not committing to the course by coming to this first meeting, so they can attend if they simply would like to learn more about what foster care is and the requirements of our families.

About the Tennessee Baptist Children’s Home: They partner with the Department of Children’s Services (DCS) to provide certified foster families for children who come into state custody. Because they do not receive money from the state TBCH is able to train and support evangelical Christian foster parents. So this is unique in that our children placed in these homes will not only be cared for physically but also will learn of the love of Christ and be exposed to the Gospel.
