Executive Ministry Assistant to Spiritual Formation Team

Our Spiritual Formation team is seeking to hire an Executive Assistant. The primary goal of the Executive Ministry Assistant is to assist the Spiritual Formation Pastor and the Life Groups Pastor in the administration of their ministry.

Under the direction of the Spiritual Formation Pastor, this position has many ministry responsibilities, but one that is primary is to understand the “why” behind our church ministry purposes and to incorporate that understanding into daily tasks, in communication with staff members, the church body and others outside the church.

This is a full-time non-exempt position. (40 hours/week). In addition, the applicant should demonstrate the following:

  • Is a Christ-follower with a personal commitment to Jesus Christ as his or her Lord and Savior.
  • College Degree preferred but not required.
  • Is a team player and has a passion to serve others.
  • Possesses strong interpersonal skills, is humble, gentle, dignified, and respectful of others.
  • Is hard working, teachable, fun loving, dedicated, and loyal.
  • Ability to organize and maintain filing systems and computerized documents.
  • A minimum of 3 years work experience in Microsoft office suite including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
  • Ability to react appropriately under pressure, apply good judgment, use sound decision-making & problem-solving skills in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Possesses strong organizational skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet expected deadlines.
  • Can prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously with an orientation toward accomplishment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (written and orally) with various individuals throughout the church.
  • Ability to handle confidential matters discreetly and efficiently.
  • The ability to proofread, use correct terminology, and ensure accuracy in order to present documents and emails in a professional format is required.

Full-Time Housekeeping Team Member

We are seeking applicants for a Full-Time Housekeeping Team Member at our Hendersonville location. This full-time position is a non-exempt position, with benefits that include medical insurance, vacation and holidays. This position is required to work normally from 7:00am –5:00pm Monday-Thursday, however, we retain the right to change hours, based on our cleaning needs, for any week (and church-wide events and could require some weekends).

The applicant should demonstrate the following:

  • General maintenance of floors, walls, carpets, furniture which includes but not limited to dusting, and wiping furniture; sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors; empty and clean trash containers and refill restroom dispensers.
  • Can prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously with an orientation toward accomplishment.
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given.
