Treasure Creek Teacher

Treasure Creek, our part-time Mother’s Day Out Program, is hiring experienced preschool teachers for both the Gallatin and Hendersonville locations. This is a part time position from August – May.

Teachers must agree to abstain from drugs and alcohol during their time of employment. Each class teacher is responsible for their classroom’s arrangement and appearance, building relationships with the children and their parents, and following all our classroom guidelines.

This position does not provide any benefits, including insurance or holidays.

Qualifications:

  • Must be professionally prepared as a caregiver and teacher of young children.
  • Be a Christ follower and have a personal commitment to Jesus Christ as his/her Lord and Savior.
  • Be available to work Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 am – 2:30 pm at the Hendersonville location or Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:30 am – 2:30 pm at the Gallatin location.
  • Be a responsible, sensitive, and mature individual who is able to relate well to both children and adults.
  • The person selected for this position will be responsible for the general supervision and care of young children.
  • You will be required to pass a background screening process.

Children’s Ministry Coordinator

The Children’s Ministry Coordinator for our Gallatin Campus will be responsible to carry out the vision of Kids Ministry at the Gallatin campus and to develop, maintain, and grow a thriving kids ministry at that campus for children from birth – 5th grade.

Included in the responsibilities would be Volunteer Recruitment, Training and Leadership Development, working with the Kids team to help develop creative direction, curriculum direction and event planning.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position (40-45hours/week), with benefits, including paid vacation and health insurance.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Able to work 45+ hours a week.
  • Flexible in work schedule; i.e. Sundays, Wednesday evenings, camps, VBS, and some weekend events.
  • Has a bachelor’s degree in children’s ministry related field i.e. Biblical studies, church ministry, church leadership, education, early childhood development
  • 2-5 Years of ministry and/or leadership experience.
  • Has a strong understanding of childhood development.
  • Ability to communicate God’s Word to both children and parents.
  • Possesses basic knowledge of Mac applications, as well as, but not limited to, Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and execute large events.
  • Is a team player and driven to serve others.
  • Ability to react appropriately under pressure, apply good judgment, use sound decision-making and problem solving skills in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Possesses strong organizational skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet expected deadlines.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential matters discreetly and efficiently.
  • Ability to manage budgets and spreadsheets.

Part-Time Childcare Coordinator

This position coordinates childcare for all campuses associated with Long Hollow. This is a part-time time exempt position with the ability to work remotely for some responsibilities. Duties will include working with the various ministry teams and departments of Long Hollow to coordinate childcare needs for Church events.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Is a Christ follower with a personal commitment to Jesus Christ as his or her Lord and Savior.
  • Flexible in work schedule; i.e. Sundays, Wednesday evenings, camps, VBS, and some weekend events.
  • Has a high school diploma.
  • Basic understanding of child development.
  • At least two years of volunteer or professional experience working directly with children or families in a church or educational setting.
  • Highly organized and driven with the ability to set and meet deadlines.
  • Flexible in work schedule; able to work from home and available to work evening and weekend events as needed.
  • Possesses basic knowledge of Mac applications, as well as, but not limited to, Word, Excel, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
