Equipped for All Needs is a series of training events to help prepare our church to serve people of all needs. The topics will vary and better equip us to disciple the Next Generation. For this training event, we will be looking at adverse childhood experiences and how they can affect us throughout development.

The purpose of the training is to foster awareness about Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) (often referred to as “trauma”) among children. ACEs harm the developing brains and bodies of children compromising the foundation for lifelong health. Two decades of research on ACEs have led to childhood adversity being recognized as a major public health problem. This training will explore the wealth of knowledge and research related to adverse experiences and its impact on the child’s behavioral and emotional well-being.
