Child Dedication will take place at both campuses on Sunday, January 31. Child Dedication is an opportunity for families to publicly commit to raising their children in a way that’s honoring and pleasing to the Lord. It’s also a time for Long Hollow to publicly recognize these families and our commitment to partner with them as they seek to disciple their children. Each child dedication ceremony includes a light breakfast, photo opportunity, and time of prayer for the families.
Registration is now closed. We have reached full capacity.

Frequently Asked Questions
If you have any questions that are not answered below, please contact Cyndi Harp at cyndi.harp@longhollow.com.
Q: How long does the dedication last?
A: The dedication lasts about one hour. It begins with breakfast and photos, followed by a few brief videos, and a short message from an LH Kids ministry leader. It concludes with a brief public presentation of the families to the church.
Q: Can I invite family and friends?
A: Yes! We encourage you to invite family and friends to this special event. When you register, please let us know how many guests plan on attending so we can reserve seating for you in the Chapel or Tree House.
Q: Will there be a photographer?
A: Yes, each family will have the opportunity to take a family photo. Digital prints will be emailed to families, typically within one week of the dedication.
Q: Can siblings participate in the child dedication?
A: Yes! We have toys and small activities ready to help occupy your little ones. This is a family-centered environment and we welcome kids of all ages to participate in the celebration.
Q: What should I wear?
A: Whatever you and your little one feel most comfortable in! Some people dress casually in jeans, while others may dress in more formal attire.
Q: Is this an infant baptism?
A: No, we believe that people must understand what it means to put their faith in Christ before they are baptized. This event is an opportunity for parents to publicly commit to raise their child to know and follow Jesus.
Q: How often do you have child dedication events?
A: We typically host 3-4 child dedication events each year.
