God is up to something new in our midst.

As thousands of new families move to our cities and businesses flock to our region, He has sovereignly positioned us in a boomtown with incredible potential for us to reach our growing community (and the world) with the hope of the Gospel. As Pastor Robby mentioned on Vision Sunday this February, we believe that God is calling us to build a second major ministry hub in Sumner County to prepare for this.

After months of prayer and research, we’re confident that we’ve found the ideal piece of land along the Highway 109 corridor in Gallatin. With more than 20 acres at the epicenter of our community’s growth, this property accomplishes several goals:

  • It’s at the heart of growth along two major highways where expansion of 6-20% is expected over the next 5 years alone.
  • It’s a shorter drive for many Long Hollow families, including many who attend in Hendersonville.
  • Like our original Hendersonville property, it gives us room to expand as our faith family grows.
  • It expands our ministry reach into the Portland area for the first time.

The land is $1,450,000, and given the current real estate climate, we want to move quickly to secure this tract and invest in this foundational asset for our church’s future. We’re voting as a church family during all services on October 22, and holding a special Vision Offering on October 29 with a family goal of $550.

Whether you can only give a little, or maybe give much more, prayerfully consider how your generosity will have an impact on our community for decades to come. It’s an exciting time to be at Long Hollow!
