Welcome Wilton Family!

January brought a new Missions Pastor to Long Hollow! Greg, his wife Abby, and their children have come to us after serving for the past three years in Southeast Asia. They both have a heart for the nations and are eager to help the members of Long Hollow serve the Lord faithfully where they are at. We look forward to what The Lord has in store for our church through Greg!

2017 Mission Trips

Have you signed up for a trip yet for 2017?

Click the link below to check out details for trips to locations such as Haiti, Uganda, NYC, India, Thailand, Nicaragua, and the Middle East. Each trip is different and the focuses range from orphan care, medical care, evangelism, church-planting, anti-trafficking, and more.

We pray that you consider taking a step of faith and serving in one of these locations.

From March 18-25, a team will be heading to New York City to work with the Let My People Go ministry. They will be serving those who are the most vulnerable to human trafficking and will be helping to bring awareness to the city.

Trip Cost: $900, sign-ups end Wednesday, February 15

Missionaries of the Month

Lance and Aimee Brown
Lance serves as the Founder and Director of WhoUWith Ministries. WhoUWith Ministries was established in 2001 as a discipleship and outreach ministry for the athletes and coaches at Vanderbilt University. In the role of Team Pastor, he leads weekly small group Bible studies with athletes and coaches, mentors them, and handles game-day chapels. His wife, Aimee, also ministers to the women’s basketball team at Belmont University.

During the spring semester, WhoUWith has a lot going on. In February, they provide a luncheon for the entire Vanderbilt coaching staff and their support team, they will provide scholarships to over 30 students to a FCA retreat, and they will have their annual fundraising dinner.

Lance and Aimee thank you for your prayers and support since they started this ministry in 2001 and are eager to continue investing, inspiring, and impacting the lives of college athletes and coaches with the love of Christ!

Local Partner of the Month

Project Connect Nashville
Project Connect Nashville serves disconnected and vulnerable men, women, and their families by building relationships, providing assistance, educating and equipping them for the challenges each day brings, and celebrating every victory. They also seek to educate the church on poverty, connecting those who desire to serve with opportunities to connect with hurting people in their community.

In January of 2017, they were able to open up their new space in Madison! They now have a training room, computer space, offices, and are able to do ministry on a whole new level.

They are currently seeking volunteers to help provide meals during their training classes as well as needing individuals to attend their faith and finances classes to form relationships with the other individuals.
