A short-term mission trip will challenge your faith, your personal ministry, and your view of this culture and world. Each year our missions department provides mission opportunities all over the world, with a variety of focuses: orphan care, medical care, evangelism, church planting, anti-trafficking, and more. We pray you consider taking a step of faith to share the Good News at one of these locations.
Take a few minutes to check out this year’s scheduled trips. If you have specific questions, please contact the leader who is coordinating the trip. If you’re ready to sign-up – great! Please click the “Sign Up” button next to your desired trip and complete the registration with a $100 deposit. You will be notified by your trip leader of upcoming meetings and important information.
If you’re interested in becoming a future trip leader, you are welcome to apply. Each Fall we hold a training for new potential leaders, followed by an application process. For further clarification, please contact Amanda at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note, you must have traveled to an international location through Long Hollow prior to leading a team there.
We know there are many people who go on mission through other trips and organizations, and we encourage that! We would love to keep up with your journey and spread the word within our church community. Please fill out this form so we can connect with you and pray for you.
This is an opportunity to see a unique area of Asia, leading a basketball camp for 12-15 year olds and also sharing what it means to be a believer of Christ. We need people with some basketball playing experience, but also those who are organizers, flexible, and want to pour into people who don’t know Jesus. If that sounds like you, please contact us.

Long Hollow partners with El Shaddai Ministries International, whose mission is to be a Christ-centered ministry, filling Haiti with passionate church leaders and establishing a network of churches that are spiritually healthy, evangelical, and self-sustaining.
To help accomplish this goal, Long Hollow sends multiple teams to Haiti each year to minister in orphan care, church planting, construction, medical care, higher education, and evangelism. Through funding, we support the children by providing residential care and education. Our greatest goal is to invest in the people of Haiti by building relationships and bringing the gospel to them.

New York City
New York City is an amazing mission field. The city alone is home to over 800 languages, and most nations are represented within its city limits. God has literally brought the nations to us! Our teams, partnering with local missionaries, primarily focus on church planting efforts and community outreach. We also help fight human trafficking, as NYC is a major hub. There are numerous ways to serve and love the people.

Through our partnership with Extreme Missionary Adventures, Long Hollow is able to bring the gospel to remote and unreached villages throughout the jungles of Nicaragua. These mission teams primarily focus on evangelism, as many locals have not heard the name of Jesus. Men will backpack from village to village through mountainous and jungle terrain, and will be physically and spiritually challenged in their faith. The September 30 team will be co-ed and will be centered around running a soccer camp.

Salt Lake City
While Salt Lake City is home to 1.8 million people, less than 2 percent are Evangelical Christians. This city is considered to be unreached, and our partners at Hope Church seek to change that statistic. Our teams will work with leaders at Hope Church to do a variety of work including serving polygamist refugees and homeless, prayer walking, and executing a city serve day centered around a free medical clinic.

The Home of New Beginnings, located in Thailand, provides women who desire to start new lives with the physical, emotional, spiritual, and educational support to break out of sexual slavery. We partner with them on a couple annual short-term trips by ministering to the women and praying over the areas of the country that are highly impacted by human trafficking.

Partnering with our missionaries, Tony Applegate and Jim Telman, in Mbira, Uganda, we have the privilege of sending mission teams to support their ministry. Their organization, the G.R.A.C.E (God Rescuing African Children from Evil) Project, aims to provide aid for local orphaned children, develop Christian schools, and plant churches. These short-term teams take part in orphan care, medical care, and other ministry opportunities to support the local people and our partners.

Mission Discovery Trips
Since their beginning in 1991, over 35,000 students and adults have brought hope to situations of poverty. Today the work of Mission Discovery continues stronger than ever! Participants build homes for the poor, love on orphans, feed the hungry, clothe and educate school children. They even help at medical clinics and empower churches to more effectively bring hope to their communities. We arrange food, lodging, service projects, ministry opportunities, and logistics so you will be effective from day one. Each night we offer a worship service to provide you the opportunity to come together and reflect on what you have experienced during the day.We currently offer mission trips for groups as well as individuals in 7 different countries: Bahamas, Guatemala, Haiti, Jamaica, Mexico, Swaziland, and the United States.
*Mission Discovery is a 501c3 organization as well as a member in good standing with the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability.

Get Strong Ministries
Get Strong Ministries is intentionally investing in Ocotal, Nicaragua, to make disciples who make disciples. This is accomplished through relationships with local pastors and members of the community. Get Strong uses fitness and relationships to evangelize and disciple in Ocotal. Most trips consist of assisting current D-Groups with training or encouraging leaders, exercising with people in the community at the Get Strong gym, and community service projects with local pastors to give them influence and support.
Scott Batson, founder of Get Strong Ministries, leads several trips to Ocotal throughout the year. See the list below for his 2017 dates, and contact him at email@example.com to sign up.
