An End-of-Summer Women’s Gathering

“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.” – Matthew 11:28-30 (MSG)

Rhythms is a unique opportunity for women of all ages to come together at the end of the summer to hang out and have fun in our Long Hollow courtyard on July 28, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Bring a blanket or a chair, and invite a friend! This will be a night filled with live music, stories, laughter, food trucks, and so much more.

With kids going back to school just a few days after Rhythms, we’re inviting you to bring school supplies for the children of local Title I schools. Since many of the families in a Title I school simply do not have the funds, their children have no choice but to begin school without school supplies. This leaves many of the teachers providing necessary school supplies out of their own pocket. This a great opportunity to not only support the families of our community but our teachers too! We have narrowed down the most useful and versatile school supplies able to be used by all Title I schools. You can find that here. This is donation only so please feel free to purchase as many or few school supplies from the list.

Rhythms is $5 per person. Reserve your spot today by clicking here.

It is going to be an absolute blast, and we pray you will leave feeling freer and lighter. If you have any questions, please contact sara.hepburn@longhollow.com.

UPDATE: Due to the potential for rain, we will have Rhythms inside the Hendersonville Student Building! You can still bring a blanket, and we will still have everything else as planned.

As with all LH Women events, Rhythms will require an army of volunteers to make it happen. We’d love your help to greet, set up, sell t-shirts, and more. If you would like to serve at Rhythms, fill out this form. Please email Annemarie Williams at annemarie37075@yahoo.com with any questions related to volunteering.
